Brianna Nash, ISSA CPT

I remember the days when I was just getting started with fitness…

I just got into college and was looking for ways to get in shape. It was hard.

I’d go into the gym and have no clue what I was even doing in there.

I couldn’t afford to hire a trainer, so I floundered for so long.

Getting fit can be tough if you’re not sure what to do. And, this doesn’t have to be you. You shouldn’t have to feel alone on this journey.

No one should feel stuck trying to figure out how to lose weight or get fit on their own!

  • I want to share the knowledge I’ve gained over the years.
  • You deserve a community and support system to help you along the way. And I completely agree.
  • I know you can be successful. I’ll help you learn how to lose weight and feel great about how you look.
  • Deep in my heart, this is why I started this website – so I could help people just like you.

But, before we get into that.

Let’s Go Back to The Beginning

I can remember it like it was yesterday…

Try as I might, I just didn’t stick with fitness in college.

The year I was at college before deploying overseas, I played Rugby for one season and went to the gym a few times here and there.

It was so sporadic.

I drank like a fish in college, and then when I was on orders for the military, that didn’t really change at all. I still drank like a fish.

Then, things started to change…

In 2009 I volunteered to deploy overseas with an Infantry military unit as an Air Traffic Controller…

Honestly, it was probably the best decision I could have made for myself then, considering I didn’t really have a direction I was going in life.

I ended up out of my element, away from most folks that I knew, and working in the desert. I couldn’t leave, I couldn’t really take a vacation (other than the allotted two weeks to go home), and I couldn’t really call in sick.

Each day was the same:

  1. Wake up
  2. Run, then shower
  3. Breakfast
  4. Work + Lunch
  5. Workout then shower
  6. Dinner
  7. Bed

The only time that changed was if I was being lazy and didn’t run one morning.

And I found CrossFit… Along with people to workout with

Something happens when you find people with similar goals to yourself…

You start thinking differently.

You start believing in yourself and pushing yourself a little harder.

One of the military officers I worked with introduced me to CrossFit (I nearly died during that workout), and I fell in love.

Soon, I was making better choices with food, checking the CrossFit website for new workouts, and found others that were into CrossFit as well.

Others started noticing a difference.

Not only was I able to see a difference in myself, but others saw it also.

I had lost weight, toned my body, and was feeling great.

Bringing what I learned back home…

Now, ten years later, I have a small-scale garage gym and more nutrition knowledge.

And that’s why this site was born.

I hope that I can help you make the changes you’re wanting to make in your life. I want to inspire you and motivate you to make lasting changes, love your body, and feel amazing.
