And I don't even want to talk about the pictures in my Facebook and Instagram feeds about people losing 20 pounds in two weeks by drinking nothing but lemonade and eating air (or whatever other weird diet is en vogue).
It's depressing, isn't it? I mean, what makes their way so special?
Here's the bad news (for them), and the good news (for you and I):
First, it is not exactly healthy to lose weight that fast. Sure, dropping water weight in the beginning is ok, but continuing to lose over 2 pounds a weeks is ultimately not healthy or maintainable over the long haul.
