16 Keto Coffee Recipes You’ll Absolutely Love
If you’re just starting your keto journey, you may have heard a thing or two about how great keto coffee really is. Well, did you know there are many different keto coffee recipes out there?
Keto coffee has been the lifeblood of many a folk that have opted to go the keto route.
It’s full of delicious fat. It’s full of caffeine.
And, they’re absolutely delicious!
I love keto coffee’s because if I’m feeling lazy in the morning I know I’ll be fueled and ready to tackle the world without making a breakfast!
I use them as either an alternative to breakfast or I’ll choose to have one for breakfast if I’m trying to fast a little bit longer (yes, I know that’s a controversial topic, but it’s my way).
There are so many ways to make keto coffee too. Like, there’s no right or wrong way to make a keto coffee unless you use regular sugar – then that’s a no-no, but other than that you’re good.
Why You Should Consider Having Keto Coffee
Like I mentioned above, keto coffee is great if you’re typically rushed in the morning.
Brew your cup of joe, pop it in a blender with butter, coconut oil or mct oil, maybe a little sugar-free flavoring and BAM keto coffee!
Some folks like to add a bit of heavy cream, and I’m not above that at all – it’s delicious, but some folks also avoid it because of the dairy aspect.
But, you should consider keto coffee if:
- you don’t really enjoy breakfast
- you’re too rushed in the morning to make a breakfast
- you want to try intermittent fasting (again, different strokes folks)
- you want to see what the hype is about
- or you just really really love coffee and would rather THAT be your breakie
Whatever your reasoning… I think you should definitely give keto coffee a shot!
Keto Coffee Recipes You’ll Absolutely Love
Not everyone gets the whole idea of sticking butter in your coffee and using it as a snack/meal/treat.
And, to be honest, it was really gross to me at first.
Butter… in coffee? That just sounded wrong on so very many different levels.
However, if you give it a chance and don’t stick your nose up to it… it’s actually pretty good.
How to Make a Keto Coffee
It’s quite simple really. Here’s a really basic way of making a keto coffee that literally takes as long as it does to brew a cup of coffee in the morning.
1: Brew your coffee to your liking
2: Put your other ingredients in a blender
3: Add the brewed coffee
4: Blend until frothy and creamy
Obviously, there are other ways of making one of these delectable and tantalizing keto coffees, but this just gives you a birds-eye perspective on the matter.
You can make it as lavish or as plain as you want.
Or, find yourself right there in the cozy middle. It’s all up to you and your tiny little tastebuds.

Things You Need To Make Keto Coffee At Home
You can get as fancy or as not fancy as you want honestly.
Here’s what I have in my house and use when I make myself a fatty coffee:
- Chemex pour-over coffee maker (this beauty is what we have)
- Coffee filters; because we found the dust would slip through (these are great)
- Coffee… obviously (this one is lovely)
- Inexpensive blender… really it’s not a big deal (I use this)
- Your ingredients… but, of course
That’s really all you need.
Give these a shot and you won’t be sorry!
