There are so many people that aren't prepared if something major happens or if the stores run out of food.
I don't want that to be you. I want you to be prepared. Not like prepper prepared, but certainly kind of close to that.
You don't have to go out and buy all the things or prep like some crazy mad person to be prepared.
Prepping for Emergencies – Food Wise
When it comes to prepping for emergencies, food-wise, you want to have some non-perishables on hand, but you also want some things that are frozen too.
I could go way more in-depth with other things along this line, but I want to keep it to food here. Don't worry about “if the power goes out” just yet. That can be dealt with later or by buying a generator.
In the meantime, stocking up on delicious meals is a wise thing to do for your family.
Sure, you could go out and buy those survivor meal sets and have dried foods on hand. But, unless you're stranded for weeks without access to a store… it's really unnecessary.
Some folks will go that far and prep that much (ahem… my husband is one of those), but it's not 100% needed unless you're super cautious.
